We’re on our way to Roanoke, VA today to play a show at the Sovereign Grace Church down there.  This kicks off another leg of a tour where we head south then north to the midwest and then back again.  Excited!

Check out a new video clip of our performance from Purple Door.   This is a fun cover that we like to pull out.

Off of the road for a few days but still busy!

Some of us have been chilling at the NJ shore (thanks to Ocean City Baptist). Even now as I look out the window, I see “Christ Saves” written in neon at the steeple of the church; a bold message of hope to our culture. While here, we are hoping for a little new song inspiration as well as some needed rest and relaxation. There has been a lot of talk going around about how blessed we feel and how God is building our faith for this ‘full-time band’ venture. When we take a minute to stand back, we are freshly amazed by the doors that have opened and the opportunities that we have already had. Thanks for your love and support. We feel your solidarity.

P.S.  We’ll be playing at the GAP at 3401 Walnut St. Philadelphia, PA tonight if you are around. 7 – 9 pm. acoustic set.

We played at Purple Door Festival on Friday and Saturday.  SOOO much fun. We were pleasantly surprised by the large crowd that came to see us at 11:15 AM in the morning.  A lot of hanging with the people and watching good shows.  mewithoutYou, Family Force 5, Seabird and some new bands too like Deas Veil, Abel and more.

We also met with some youth leaders at a special meet and greet.  It was a wonderful time of encouragement and challenge for both of us.  We love getting to talk with the real heroes of the youth and see how we can best serve them.

We have videos coming but until then, here are a few pics from our friend Terry Bruce.

Hey guys

Dan here. I was reading a blog from friend and pastor Josh Harris www.joshharris.com (you know, kissing dating goodbye and all that fine stuff) and he posted a video from another author that Noele and I just recently downloaded an audio book of called Crazy Love. http://www.crazylovebook.com/ His name is Francis Chan and I’ll be admit I was a fan of his already due to his ethnicity.

Just like my mom and dad rooted for Kristi Yamaguchi, or even better Michelle Kwan, I will often give my unabashed support my Asian brothers and sisters. Anyway, I can do like a whole month blog of my love for Asian food, people, haircuts, food and cuisine, but I wanted to share a video that really was poignant to our current situation and a lesson for all of life…

P.S.  Josh is half Japanese
